WMC Unspinning the Spin

company man

originally someone who led a company union and represented management's hope of keeping away outside unions, a company man today is someone who always sides with the boss or the company. It's a difficult term to replace as it says so much in two words. Today, however, there are company women, too, but "company woman" may not be understood in the same way. For both sexes, use instead loyal employee/worker, staunch supporter, company spokesperson, company mouthpiece. Or, use adjectives: loyal, faithful, devoted, trustworthy, true-blue. See also organization man.
