wifehood/wifelike/wifeliness/wifely

our ideas of wifelike, wifely, wifeliness, and wifehood depend entirely on subjective cultural stereotypes. Replace these terms with words that are gender-fair, precise, and descriptive. For example, for wifely use companionable, helpful, supportive, sympathetic, sensitive, affectionate, intimate, loving, approving, admonishing. These words would do equally well for husbandly. See also wife, woman, womanlike/womanliness/womanly.
