Zinara Rathnayake is an independent journalist based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and Guwahati, India. Her work largely focuses on travel, food, and culture while she also writes about social justice, community, and development work. In her ongoing research with APWLD, she looks into labor rights and lack of female leadership in Sri Lanka’s Free Trade Zones.
