Patricia Lizarraga

Bio:

Ms. Patricia Lizarraga is the managing partner of Hypatia Capital Group, a private equity firm focused on the top female executives of the Fortune 1000. She is responsible for the vision, leadership and execution of the organization's strategy, as well as originating proprietary private equity transactions. She has over 20 years of merchant banking experience, as well as is a founder of several successful companies. She was most recently the Managing Director of Calyon Securities' New York mergers & acquisitions group. She started her merchant banking career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. In addition, Ms. Lizarraga founded the Ursus Restaurant Group in 1997 and Ursus Agroindustrial in 2002, as well as is a founding member of Sigma SAFI, an asset management company. She also served as the President of the Privatization Committee of the Toll Roads of Peru. Ms. Lizarraga is on the board of directors of the Harvard Business School Women’s Association of New York, In-Motion, the Educational Video Center, the Diller-Quaile School of Music, as well as a Trustee for the Museum of Art of Lima. She is a frequent speaker on the topic of women in private equity at professional forums and top business school conferences.

Ms. Lizarraga received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Yale University and her Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
