Nichola Gutgold

Bio:

Nichola D. Gutgold is a professor of communication arts and sciences at Penn State University, Lehigh Valley campus, and former associate dean of academic affairs of Penn State’s Schreyer Honors College. Her research on women and politics has been featured in US News and World Report, The New York Times, NPR, and international media outlets. She has authored more than 10 books, including, most recently, Electing Madam President: When Women Run, Women Win, and is at work on a documentary film on women who have run for president, as well as a handbook on effective communication for women running for office.
