Bio
Jessica McDiarmid is a Canadian journalist who has worked across North America and Africa. She has written for numerous publications and worked for Journalists for Human Rights. She recently published her first book, Highway of Tears, about the decades long tragedy of Indigenous women and girls having gone missing, and being found murdered along an isolated stretch of highway in northwestern British Columbia.
