Stephanie Casanova is a criminal justice and breaking news reporter at the Chicago Tribune. She has also worked in newsrooms in Arizona, Kansas and South Dakota.
She grew up in Tucson, Arizona, frequently crossing the border to visit family in Sonora, Mexico. She is a 2014 graduate of the University of Arizona.
