Jen Brea
Bio:
Jennifer Brea was born in Long Island, New York, then grew up in Central Florida. After graduating from Princeton University with an AB in Politics, she was a freelance journalist in China and East and Southern Africa and a TED Fellow. Jennifer was pursuing her PhD in Government at Harvard — studying political economy and statistics, and working on a dissertation on lynching in the US — when she first got sick. Her experience inspired her to become a filmmaker and ME activist. Jennifer's documentary film, Unrest, is premiering at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. She splits her time between California and New Jersey.
