Bio:
Deeyah Khan is an Emmy and Peabody winning filmmaker, born in Norway of Pashtun-Afghan ancestry. She is a feminist, an activist human rights defender; founder and CEO of Fuuse, which produces documentary films, digital media platforms and content for tv; founder/editor of Sister-Hood, a magazine for diverse Muslim women; and an accomplished musician and composer. In her searing new film, now on Netflix, White Right: Meeting The Enemy, Khan dared go to the heart of the US neo Nazi movement to try to understand these young men and reach their humanity.
