The Women's Media Center Mourns the Loss of Veteran Correspondent Marie Colvin

The Women's Media Center joins journalists across the globe mourning the loss of veteran correspondent, Marie Colvin, known for her courageous reporting. Those gentlemen who implied, after the attacks on Lara Logan some months ago, that women reporters had no place in conflict zones, would have not dared make such remarks to a legend like Colvin, who was proud to mentor and inspire younger women journalists--and who will be much missed.
