Prof. Greer is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Fordham University - Lincoln Center (Manhattan) campus. Her research and teaching focus on American politics, black ethnic politics, urban politics, quantitative methods, Congress, New York City and New York State politics, campaigns and elections, and public opinion. A music festival in Ansbach, Germany was attacked by a bomber. To discuss, we FEATURE Nichole Argo. Nichole spent several years doing field work on political violence. She is one of the few experts on terrorism and political violence to have interviewed and lived with militants, and was one of the first to provide data to refute the “religion, poverty, or indoctrination” theories of terrorist motivation in 2003. Argo interviewed militants and bombers in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza, and Leeds (United Kingdom). In order to understand their lives, she lived amidst their communities. Patricia is the managing partner of Hypatia Capital Group, a private equity firm focused on the top female executives of the Fortune 1000. She is responsible for the vision, leadership and execution of the organization's strategy, as well as originating proprietary private equity transactions. She was most recently the Managing Director of Calyon Securities' New York mergers & acquisitions group. In addition, Ms. Lizarraga founded the Ursus Restaurant Group in 1997 and Ursus Agroindustrial in 2002, as well as is a founding member of Sigma SAFI, an asset management company.
