Former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson's sexual harassment lawsuit against Fox News ex-CEO Roger Ailes has reached a settlement, to discuss we FEATURE Carol Robles-Román. Robles-Román is President and CEO of Legal Momentum, the national legal organization that advances and defends the rights of women and girls. Recently, Legal Momentum has helped create workplace protections for federal employees, legally represented women who were subjected to workplace discrimination and sexual assault, and called for elected officials to respond forcefully to the scourge of domestic violence. Carol is a national public speaker and appears regularly in the media, most recently on WABC Radio discussing domestic violence, on CNN discussing her mentorship program, GPS: Girl Power School, and on ABC speaking about trends in the law and courts, education, women’s rights, immigration, human trafficking and violence against women.

With the China G20 Summit happening this past weekend, we FEATURE Dr. Radhika Balakrishnan. Dr. Balakrishnan is the executive director of the Center for Women's Global Leadership, and a Professor of Women's and Gender Studies at Rutgers University. Previously, she was Professor of Economics and International Studies at Marymount Manhattan College. She has worked at the Ford Foundation as a program officer in the Asia Regional Program. She is currently the Chair of the Board of the US Human Rights Network and on the Board of the Center for Constitutional Rights and the International Association for Feminist Economics. She is the co-editor with Diane Elson of Economic Policy and Human Rights: Holding Governments to Account (Zed Books, 2011). She is the author of Why MES with Human Rights: Integrating Macro Economic Strategies with Human Rights (Marymount Manhattan College, 2005). A recent IUCN report has found that the ocean has been rapidly increasing in temperature. For further discussion, we FEATURE Erika Bergman. As a lifelong storyteller turned manned submersible pilot, Erika Bergman is a passionate ocean explorer. She studied chemical oceanography at the University of Washington while simultaneously working as a diesel engineer aboard the tall ship S/V Lady Washington and a steam ship engineer aboard the S/S Virginia 5. Since then she has worked as a submersible pilot and engineer completing exploration, research and filmmaking sub dives. In May of 2013 she was named a National Geographic Young Explorer and has been featured in Outside Magazine and National Geographic for her expertise in travel, oceanography, submersible technology, women in STEM education, and marine engineering.
