This week we highlight experts on the international response to ISIS, Ebola and the US commitment to send troops to West Africa, Standard and Poor's report showing income inequality is hurting state tax income, the Rosetta spacecraft's comet landing spot, and domestic violence and child abuse.
As the international community works together to combat ISIS, we spotlight Juliette N. Kayyem who previously served for President Obama as Assistant Secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs at the Department of Homeland Security. Kayyem has spent over 15 years in senior positions in state and federal government and is the author of numerous books and articles on counterterrorism and national security. On Monday, Standard & Poor released a report showing income inequality is hurting state tax revenue. As a Mission Systems Engineer at MDA Space Missions, Natalie works on the next generation of Canadian space robotics, and other Canadian space exploration programs.
