Bio:

Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras Sayda moved to the United States when she was six years old. While obtaining her bachelors degree in political science at Moravian College, she was involved with multiple local campaigns, including Lehigh Valley for Barack Obama and Service Employees International Union where she interned as a field organizer for food service workers. After relocating to DC she served for AmeriCorps at Higher Achievement as their E-Learning Training Associate specializing in educational technology and grant writing. She also has experience in policy development working as a contractor for the DC Office of Human Right’s in the Language Access Program, ensuring that DC government agencies were providing equal services to limited or non-English residents under the Language Access Act of 2004.
