Kerry K. Paterson

Bio:

Kerry Paterson is a graduate student at the Munk School of Global Affairs in Toronto. She has an honors degree in peace and conflict studies, which focused on the use of rape as a tool of war, and the disproportionate effect of conflict on women. Among other projects, she has worked with Médecins Sans Frontières, Ujenzi Trust, and Massachusetts General Hospital’s Division of Global Health and Human Rights. She is an associate editor of the Journal of International Law and International Relations, and director of Strategy at @BeSmrt, an organization geared toward ending the use of conflict minerals from the DRC.
