Aarti Narsee
Bio:
Aarti Narsee is a South African feminist, writer, and journalist who documents human rights violations across the world in her role as civic space researcher for the CIVICUS Monitor. She holds an MSc in gender, policy, and inequalities from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Aarti has written extensively about gender and LGBTQI+ rights and has worked for the BBC, Sunday Times, and New Frame. Her chapter “Diary of an Indian Woman” was published in Nasty Women Talk Back, a collection of feminist essays highlighting everyday aggressions faced by women.
