Women’s Media Center Live with Robin Morgan receives award of excellence from the Communicators Award

Women’s Media Center Live with Robin Morgan recently received an award of excellence from the Communicators Award for an episode exploring the realities of losing reproductive rights.

In the winning episode, “Body Snatchers” which aired prior to the U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v Wade, Robin explores the realities of a post Roe world and finds a vast network of underground abortion providers and devices. Her special guest for the episode was Jessica Bruder, writer of “The Abortion Underground” in the May edition of The Atlantic.

“Body Snatchers,” originally aired on April 24, 2022. It received the award in the podcast category for individual awards/political. The U.S. Supreme Court overturned the landmark 1973 Supreme Court decision that affirmed the constitutional right to abortion on June 24, 2022.
