Julie F. Kay is a human rights attorney who has argued for abortion rights internationally, including before the European Court of Human Rights in A, B and C v. Ireland, which spurred liberalization of Ireland’s abortion law. She currently works on groundbreaking legal reform to protect the parenting rights of people leaving ultra-religious communities. She is the co-author, with Kathryn Kolbert, of Controlling Women: What We Must Do Now to Save Reproductive Freedom.
