Urška Petrovčič is a senior consultant at Criterion Economics, where she specializes in antitrust, intellectual property, and patent damages. She completed her Ph.D. at the European University Institute, where she compared the antitrust regimes in the United States and in the European Union. She was a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley (USA) and at the University of Oslo (Norway). She was also the inaugural scholar of the American Bar Association’s International in-Residence Program. Petrovčič previously worked at the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and at the Directorate General for Competition at the European Commission. Petrovčič has published a book and several articles on the intersection of antitrust and intellectual property and has presented on that topic at numerous international conferences.
