Stephanie Feldstein is the Population and Sustainability Director at the Center for Biological Diversity, where she heads a national program that addresses the connection between human population growth, overconsumption, and the wildlife extinction crisis. She created the innovative Take Extinction Off Your Plate campaign, and advocates for equitable solutions to transform food systems, increase public health, advance reproductive rights and empowerment, and challenge endless growth. She is a sought-after speaker and expert on issues including sustainable food systems, the environmental benefits of plant-based diets, the climate impacts of dietary patterns, agricultural threats to wildlife, changing consumption, animal protection and welfare, and human population pressure. Previously Stephanie worked for Change.org, where she helped hundreds of people start and win online campaigns to protect animals and the environment.
