An award-winning writer, editor, and lecturer, Samhita Mukhopadhyay is the former executive editor of Teen Vogue. Before that she served as the senior editorial director at Mic and executive editor of Feministing.com. She is the co-editor of Nasty Women: Feminism, Resistance and Revolution in Trump's America and the author of Outdated: Why Dating is Ruining Your Love Life. Her writing has appeared in The Atlantic, Vanity Fair, NBC, Allure, Jezebel, New York, Vogue, Vogue India, Al Jazeera, The Guardian, and The Nation. Samhita was a 2022 MacDowell Fellow and while at MacDowell, she worked on her third book, The Myth of Making It, a reported memoir on the state of “girl boss” feminism and equality in the workplace.
