For 25 years, Morgan Meneses-Sheets has helped nonprofits develop innovative approaches to communications and advocacy programs in order to push for a bolder future. As the Founder and President of Steadfast Strategies, she has worked with state and national organizations to design public education and legislative strategies to halt harmful bills while successfully shepherding dozens of bills to protect bodily autonomy and help communities to thrive. Morgan has trained thousands of advocates and organizations on how to utilize evidence and values based messaging to build support on a range of issues from health coverage for abortion and nutrition assistance for low-income families to immigration equality and voting rights.
She has things to say and expertise to share on how the issues we care about are portrayed in the media and pop culture, how we can each be more confident communicators and storytellers to build support for the issues we care about, and how to effectively move messaging on the big issues of the day. When she’s not pushing for change, she’s likely hiking, hanging out with her kiddos or listening to Taylor Swift.
