Dr. Lisa Haverty is a trained cognitive scientist with expertise in how consumers perceive information through their senses, what gets their attention, how they learn, remember, and forget, and how they reason and make decisions. She is a Principal Data Scientist at Compete, Inc and was the Founder of Brain on Brand, a consultancy that helped marketers make messages that dovetail with the human brain's natural ways of processing information, resulting in much more effective and memorable marketing.
Dr. Haverty holds a B.A. in mathematics from Dartmouth College and a Ph.D. in cognitive science from Carnegie Mellon University.
While working at a major ad agency Dr. Haverty perfected the art of applying science in the real-world, fast-paced setting of the advertising industry, and her techniques for enhancing creative work and strategy are proven to increase the effectiveness of marketing.
Combined with her personable approach and clear communication skills, Dr. Haverty's scientific expertise has improved the national campaigns for several major brands.
