Kelly Tweeddale coaches high-performance leaders and organizations throughout North America with one focal point: connecting people and organizations through creativity. She is recognized for forging paths of notable growth through strategy, action, and innovation. She served as CEO in the fields of symphony, opera, and ballet of some of North America's largest institutions.

She developed Break the Tape Leadership to connect her experience and insight to leaders and organizations as they position to win in the "next normal." As an ICF certified coach, she has a specialty in creativity and growth from the Center for Executive Coaching. She is also an alumni of Tara Mohr's "Playing Big Facilitators Training" and recipient of the Puget Sound Business Journal Women of Influence and the Greater Vancouver YWCA Women of Distinction awards. She is a THRIVE Entrepreneurial and Business Coach for U.S. Small Business Association and is passionate about making a difference and achieving results for her clients. She has been featured on CBS, NPR, CBC, Marketplace and is well-versed in innovation, women's leadership, and creative enterprises. ​Oh, and she is a seven-time marathon finisher.

I am a certified practitioner in the fields of executive coaching and emotional intelligence. I work 1:1 with entrepreneurial CEOs to create high-performance teams and sustainable business growth. Clients include Big Brothers Big Sisters, U.S Small Business Association, Aquarium Co-op, and cohorts of business leaders from fields as diverse as entertainment, technology, biotech, infrastructure, and culinary/food industries.

Passionate about women in leadership, I work with men and women alike to create an environment of equity and opportunity. I am a graduate of Tara Mohr's "Playing Big Facilitation" and spend 50% of my practice in benevolent enterprises. I have raised over a half billion dollars in capital funding for arts, culture, and access, so well versed in philanthropic ventures.
