Jamie Barys is the Chief Eating Officer of UnTour Food Tours, China's most popular culinary tour operator. She specializes in local food culture throughout China. Previously, she was the Managing Editor of Shanghai Talk, China's longest-running English language magazine. Her writing has been featured in The Guardian, The Sunday Times Travel magazine, Fathom, That's Shanghai, Culinary Backstreets and City Weekend. She has been featured on BBC 2's Rick Stein, CNN International's Shanghai in 24 Hours, PBS's Samantha Brown's Places to Love and TVNZ’s Seven Sharp. In addition, she has worked behind-the-scenes as a fixer for Amazon Prime's Eat the World with Emeril Lagasse and NZTV3's The Great Food Race and as a casting consultant for Netflix's The Last Supper.
