Heidi Honeycutt is a film programmer for The American Cinematheque and creator of Etheria Film Night, the world's most prestigious genre film festival for women directors. She’s a film journalist, author, and active member of the film community in support of women filmmakers. She is an expert on the role of women in horror, particularly women horror directors, and is known for her writing in Fangoria Magazine, Famous Monsters of Filmland Magazine, and on Comingsoon.net. She holds an MA in Mass Communications and has appeared in numerous feminist, film, and horror documentaries including 'The 50 Best Horror Movies You've Never Seen', 'E! True Hollywood Story: Scream Queens', and 'FEARnet's Movies with More Brains'. She is the producer of the short genre film anthology '7 from Etheria' and the retrospective documentary 'The Making of Blood Diner'.
