Bio

Hannah Gómez might be the publishing industry’s first-ever in-house senior editor of cultural accuracy and sensitivity editorial services. Her role includes developing and managing a robust community of expert editors, performing cultural accuracy editing, and collaborating with authors, publishers, and literary agents to improve the quality and inclusivity of their books before they go to market. Books she has edited have hit bestseller lists and won major awards and accolades. With two master’s degrees, a PhD in progress, and experience in industries and fields as varied as academia, podcasting, fitness, libraries, and nonprofits, she’s skilled at finding unique entry points into subjects and finding new ways to connect seemingly disparate fields. She’s published three novels for kids and contributed to multiple anthologies. She has been quoted in The New York Times, USA Today, and Le Monde M magazine and has spoken at events including the London Book Fair, LA Times Festival of Books, Tucson Festival of Books, and WriterFest Nashville.
