Bio

Franki Bagdade, M.Ed., LMSW, is a master's level special educator and mental health professional with 25 years of experience in neurodiversity and disability inclusion. She earned her BA in Education from Michigan State University in 2000 and her M.Ed. in Special Education from Wayne State University in 2007. In June 2022, Franki graduated with an MSW in clinical social work from the University of Kentucky and became a licensed social worker shortly thereafter.

Focusing on the intersection of mental health and neurodiversity, Franki creates and leads workshops across North America on topics related to neurodiversity, inclusion, mental health, and parenting. She works with individual clients as a psychotherapist and provides consulting services to organizations through FAAB Consulting.

In addition, Franki is a freelance writer for various local, national, and international publications and is the author of the award-winning parenting book, "I Love My Kids, But I Don't Always Like Them!" She has also made media appearances as an expert in neurodiversity and mental health on The Today Show Parenting Team Digital, WWJ 950 Detroit, and WDET Detroit Public Radio.
