Bio

Felicia Pride is a writer, educator, and strategist at the intersection of storytelling, media, education and technology who has spent more than ten years working in the field. She is the chief content officer of Pride Collaborative, a digital media consultancy, the director of StoriesLead, a project dedicated to the future of storytelling, and the founder The Create Daily, a startup that matches media makers with career-advancing opportunities. Currently, a media fellow at the Center for Social Media at American University, Pride recently developed the digital educational component for the acclaimed PBS documentary, Slavery by Another Name, and co-developed Me @ 30, a multimedia HIV/AIDS advocacy campaign aimed at college students. Pride is the author of seven books, including The Message, which has been used as a tool of engagement in classrooms around the country. She holds an M.A. in writing from Emerson College and has been featured by USA Today, NPR, and XM Radio.
