Bio

Emma Roth serves as Senior Counsel at Reproductive Futures, where she leads the organization's legislative advocacy to bolster nationwide protections for reproductive healthcare in the aftermath of Dobbs. Previously, she worked for five years as a senior attorney at Pregnancy Justice, where she engaged in impact litigation, policy advocacy, and public education to combat the criminalization of pregnancy throughout the U.S. South. She also served as an Equal Justice Works Fellow at the ACLU Women's Rights Project, where she brought litigation across the country to further the rights of women and girls. Roth clerked for Judge Ronnie Abrams on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She is a graduate of Yale Law School and Brown University. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Washington Post, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, PBS, MSNBC, and more. Roth brings to her advocacy her personal experience as the mother of two young children.
