A leading expert in workplace bullying, Dr. Jan Kircher has a Ph.D. in sociology, an MSW, and over 20 years of experience in diverse organizational settings. During her career, she became aware of a social phenomenon called workplace bullying. In response to mounting concerns and a lack of effective strategies to help individuals and organizations, Dr. Kircher founded Stop Bully Culture and The American Workplace Advocacy Center.

Dr. Kircher is one of few in the United States that address workplace bullying and the only one that speaks to the organizational accountability in effectively solving this issue. Dr. Kircher has developed state-of-the-art and unique strategies for organizations and individuals to heal from the traumatizing effects of workplace bullying. Dr. Kircher has presented locally, regionally, and nationally across the United States for mental health and health workers, administrators, academics, and other professionals.
