Cecilia Abadie

When she's not busy pushing the boundaries through technology, getting the first ticket in the US for driving with Google Glass, and beating it in court, Cecilia is a passionate evangelist about everything digital, a Google Glass Explorer, and a Pioneer who spreads the word about wearable devices and the many ways they can change our world.

Cecilia has appeared on CNN, The Daily Show, CNET, Huffington Post, and quoted in the New York Times and Washington Post, among others.

As the founder and former CTO of 33Labs, Abadie was part of a global development team that researches and develops wearable and mobile applications to deliver experiences that innovate and disrupt the personal and the enterprise realms. Builder of LynxFit, a personal fitness trainer for Google Glass and other wearable devices, and has recently launched as a featured application on the My Glass store. Previously, she was Program Manager at Glass at X, the moonshot factory and before that, she was the Director of Product Management at Meta Co. She is currently Product Manager of Augmented Reality at Google.

Cecilia was born in Argentina and raised in Uruguay, which is where she got her Master Degree on Information Systems, and where she began her career as an international software consultant and developer.
