Ashley Weatherford joined New York magazine as Associate Beauty Editor at The Cut in August 2014. She contributes to all areas of beauty and wellness coverage, including trend reports, news, product reviews, celebrity beauty, fitness, diet and health-related content.
Prior to joining the Cut Weatherford wrote the blog August Skin, which was named best new beauty blog by Refinery 29, and was a finalist for Allure magazine’s Beauty Blog of the Year. As a freelance beauty writer and brand consultant she produced content for online publications such as SHAPE, Washingtonian, Birchbox.com, and The Washington Post.
She is a graduate of Northwestern University and lives in New York City.
