Alicia L. White is an award-winning social entrepreneur, environmental and climate justice activist, and founder of the nonprofit Project Petals and climate innovation company Blue SKYie. She has more than a decade of experience scaling initiatives at the intersection of climate, public policy, tech, environmental justice, sustainability, and grassroots initiatives. Under Alicia’s leadership, Project Petals became one of the few U.S. organizations accredited by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and has mobilized community stewardship, conservation, and policy action at local and international levels. She also played an advocacy role in supporting New York’s $4.20 billion Environmental Bond Act, the largest environmental investment in state history. Alicia’s work bridges grassroots organizing, policy change, and innovation. Through Blue SKYie, she advances sustainable solutions that connect climate science, technology, and real-world impact. Her leadership has earned numerous honors, including the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from the White House and President Joseph R. Biden Jr., recognition from Forbes Magazine, Crain’s New York Business, and multiple civic and environmental awards. She has shared her expertise at global platforms such as the United Nations, Princeton University, Columbia Business School, Worth Magazine, and the Paris Women’s Forum, and advises major brands on impact, sustainability, and social impact strategy. Alicia’s work has been featured widely in national media, including ABC, NBC, People Magazine, Women’s Health, The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Drew Barrymore Show, and the Discovery Channel.
