Michelle Hudgins

Michelle Hudgins is a professional speaker and Communications Strategist. An accredited PR and marketing professional with over 23 years of industry experience. She began her career in broadcast news and has worked for various international non-profits (the American Red Cross and the National Education Association among them) serving as a national spokesperson, media liaison and senior consultant. In these roles she served as project manager for various African-American Outreach Initiatives, leveraging partnerships with leading African-American publications and organizations, including Essence Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, the National Urban League, the National Council of Negro Women, the National Newspaper Publishers Association and the NAACP.

A progressive voice and advocate for community and minority issues, she fuses her media production background, strategic planning skills and extensive network to connect resources to the initiatives, programs and communities she supports. In addition to providing counsel and expertise to individuals, churches and non-profits, she is a staff writer of the Magnificent View Magazine, Yes We Rise Blog and is in the process of launching her own cultural impact initiative The Trillion Project. She can also be found on air as a regular commentator discussing the news of the day on TV One's News One Now with Roland Martin.
