Sub-specialities:
I am an expert in healthcare, and more specifically, I am a practicing spine surgeon. I treat all areas of the spine from the skull to the sacrum. In particular, I focus on minimally invasive techniques, and adopting new technologies in how we practice spine care (for example, robotics in spine surgery). I am also an expert in research, and have published extensively about low back pain and spine surgery.

Furthermore, I am an expert in gender issues in medicine and healthcare. I am an expert because first, I have experienced it as one of 22 spine surgeons in the country that are women (that is a 2016 number). Second, because I have performed research in this subject and written multiple editorials.
