Dr. Alyssa Bowen

Alyssa Bowen received her Ph.D. in history from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She is Managing Editor and Senior Researcher for the progressive watchdog group True North Research where she tracks and writes about dark money and special interests in U.S. politics, especially attacks on our public education system. She has bylines in The Nation, Rewire News Group and Ms. Magazine and is a regular contributor to Truthout.
