Leslie Von Pless

Leslie Von Pless is a freelance videographer, photographer and editor. As the WMC’s video production consultant, she shoots and edits promo videos, media reels and web clips. She is also the media training videographer, event photographer, and maintains the WMC’s video and photo archives. Before coming on as a consultant, she was an intern at the WMC.

Von Pless also works as a videographer and editor with Raptive Media and films concerts and events at Jazz at Lincoln Center. She is a member of the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, the Central New York Art Guild and the Cooperstown Art Association. She has been awarded several honors for her photography collections and individual prints, exhibiting widely in Upstate New York galleries.

In the past, Von Pless has worked in news and documentary video production on both web-based platforms and at local TV stations. She holds a BS in Communications: TV & Digital Film Production from SUNY Fredonia, where she also played NCAA Women’s Lacrosse. She is now vice president of the Brooklyn Women’s Rugby Football Club.
