Jamia Wilson

Jamia Wilson, vice president of programs for the Women’s Media Center, serves on advisory committees for Spiritual Youth for Reproductive Freedom and the Ms. Foundation. She came to WMC from the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, where she managed their youth outreach program Vox: Voices for Planned Parenthood. After growing up as an expatriate in Saudi Arabia, she graduated from American University and received her M.A. in Humanities and Social Thought at NYU, where she focused on research and writing inspired by critical race theory and gender studies.
