Amidst the flurry of conversation and debate over CBS’s anti-choice Super Bowl ad, Lauren Martin at The Women’s Campaign Forum has written an astute piece on why the ad reveals a distinct bias within CBS. She asks, what if they aired a pro-choice ad? Would it still be called an innocuous “celebration of life”? Martin imagines:
“Picture this: Fade in. Moving music plays. Video of children playing. A woman talks about how happy she is that the birth control pill was available to her. She wanted to make sure she became a mother when she was ready. Because of her ability to make that choice, she now has two children who she’s fully able to support. End on picture of happy family. Fade out.
And what if this ad was for Planned Parenthood or National Abortion Federation? Something tells me CBS wouldn’t approve their message to over 100 million Super Bowl viewers. And I don’t think Bill O’Reilly would deem this a ‘positive message.’”
Props and thanks to Lauren! Read the full post here.

I guess I’m missing something here, you claim to pro-choice yet you attempt to demonize Mrs. Tebow for making a choice to give birth to her son and celebrate his life. Truth be known you are not pro choice at all, you are pro abortion. I watched this ad and could find nothing, I repeat nothing that could be twisted into an attack against women. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
