Today the Washington Post announced that Courtney Martin – a Progressive Women’s Voices alum and longtime WMC friend – is one of 10 finalists in their America’s Next Great Pundit contest.  Nearly 5,000 applicants entered the widely-publicized competition, and the WMC is overjoyed at this recognition for one of its many talented and wise allies.

The Post has published Courtney’s original entry, “Between Work and Life,” in which she explores gender conventions with her usual brand of eloquence and insight.   This week the Post will publish new op-eds by the finalists, letting readers vote for who will win the spot to become a regular contributor.
