Shanelle Matthews is a recent graduate of the Manship School of Mass Communications at Louisiana State University. She is currently freelancing for a variety of media outlets, including Women’s eNews, and has written commentaries covering a gamut of issues involving politics, race relations, and sports among other topics. She plans to pursue a M.A. in international journalism.
